MINCHEW

DESIGN   DEVELOP   BUILD

Third-generation design, build, and development along Florida's Emerald Coast.

We are builders, designers, developers, and artists.

We are family.

THIRD GENERATION. SINCE the 1960s.

Minchew | Design + Build is a third-generation building and development company with roots dating back to the 1960s in Marietta, Georgia — built on two principles from the beginning: disciplined craftsmanship and enduring relationships. Today, we call Santa Rosa Beach home.

Living and working along the Gulf Coast gives us a daily understanding of the place we build in — the coastal conditions, the character of the communities, and the expectations of those who invest here. We design and build homes with intention, balancing thoughtful design, construction discipline, and long-term value. Every project has the same objective: homes that perform for the people who live in them and for the place they belong.

We are Minchew.

A family of five standing on the beach with a wooden fence and trees in the background. They are smiling and posing for the photo. The group includes an older man with white hair, a woman with blonde hair, a young man with dark hair, and a woman with dark hair. The older man and woman are on the left, the young man is in the middle, and the woman with dark hair is on the right. The woman on the right has her arm around the young man's shoulder.

More than fifty years after our founding, the philosophy remains unchanged.

Build carefully.

Build deliberately.

Build homes that last.

    DEVELOP

Every successful home begins with a disciplined approach to the land itself.

We guide projects through site evaluation, feasibility, and development planning—aligning design, zoning requirements, and long-term value from the very beginning.

With roots in development dating back to the 1960s, our team understands the realities of working along the Emerald Coast. From permitting and approvals to preparing a site for construction, we bring clarity and experience to the earliest stages of every project.

    DESIGN

Design is where vision becomes structure.

Our team works closely with clients to shape homes from the ground up—balancing architectural intent, livability, and the unique conditions of building along the Gulf Coast.

Each project is approached with careful attention to proportion, materials, and long-term performance. The result is a design process that is collaborative, intentional, and grounded in experience.

    BUILD

Construction is where discipline matters most.

As licensed General Contractors, we oversee every phase of the build—from early planning through final completion—with a focus on coordination, accountability, and precision.

Building a home requires more than executing plans. It requires thoughtful decision-making, experienced oversight, and a team committed to delivering homes that are carefully built and intended to endure.
